New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) officially announced his candidacy for President of the United States, bringing the number of GOP candidates to 14, reported the Huffington Post.

“I am now ready to fight for the people of the United States of America,” said Christie during his announcement. “Both parties have failed our country . . . both parties have led us to believe that America, a country that was built on compromise — that compromise is somehow a dirty word.”

Christie is an obnoxious Republican and political bully who has been implicated multiple times as being the mastermind behind the Bridgegate controversy, a political move to strongarm a New Jersey mayor into supporting Christie.

Recent reports have noted that Christie wasted over $300,000 in taxpayer funds on food and liquor. More than $82,000 was spent on concessions at NFL football games.

It’s been three years since Hurricane Sandy struck the east coast, and Gov. Christie is still sitting on relief funds for over 11,000 Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Elevation, and Mitigation Program (RREM) applicants. Many of those applicants are low-income earners who badly need those relief funds. He’s been accused of using that money to fund his presidential prospects.

“That money in the pipeline – he’s sitting on it and he’s using the money for his presidential hopes,” said New Jersey resident Joe Karcz. “I’ve sat with him and I’ve looked him eye-to-eye and he says ‘you’re not going back to that mold-infested house.’ And you know what? I spent two years . . . in that mold-infested house. So I don’t take anything Christie says to heart.”

Where Christie considers himself as blunt, the rest of America thinks he’s an obnoxious mess. He once said he didn’t “give a damn about presidential politics” and also told a man to “sit down and shut up,” reported HuffPo.

Christie is a wreck. He’s the bargain bin version of Donald Trump, and even that’s pretty low.
