Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump definitely knows how to market himself. In order to appeal to the conservative masses, Trump has been passing himself off as a God-fearing man.
“I love the Bible,” said Trump. “I’m a Protestant. I’m a Presbyterian. I went to Sunday School.”
However, he couldn’t even recall a single Biblical verse he liked, when asked by Bloomberg Managing Editor Mark Halperin.
As rumors emerge that Trump may seek former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for his running mate, it’s only fitting that we’re reminded of this blunder from 2008 when Palin couldn’t recall a single newspaper she read.
Trump and Palin would make a great team.
