On Thursday, Fiorina was questioned about her failure to present the truth during Wednesday night’s debate by CNN host Alisyn Camerota. When confronted, Fiorina became agitated and appeared to turn hostile.
In the course of the debate, Fiorina tried to claim that “92% of the jobs lost during Barack Obama’s first term belonged to women.”
Fiorina was confronted with the fact that the Washington Post checked that statistic during Mitt Romney’s presidential run in 2012 and found it was false.
“Well, first of all, it’s the Washington Post that said I wasn’t a secretary. So from my point of view, they have no credibility, honestly,” Fiorina said.
Camerota confronted Fiorina about her claims regarding Planned Parenthood. Fiorina has stated that the propaganda videos released online trying to show that Planned Parenthood profited from the sale of fetal tissue are strong condemnations of the organization.
The video has been debunked as a case of editing and propaganda. Fiorina was not happy.
“Wow, Alisyn, I can’t believe we’re having this conversation, honestly,” she said. “It’s clear now, it’s very clear that Planned Parenthood is harvesting body parts. So clear that they had to announce that they no longer take compensation for it. Honestly, this has been hashed and rehashed is there no other issue of economic import to the middle class in the United States of America that you’d like to talk about this morning?’
