In part one of a two-part interview with TeleSur, Ralph Nader explains the many ways that corporations have taken control of the American government with the help of fake liberals.

According to Nader,  once Democrats came to recognize that they were able to raise campaign funds from corporations, they started granting all sorts of favors to their corporate masters, just like Republicans.

“And that’s when the Democratic party started going off the cliff,” said Nader.

“That’s the effect of money in politics,” Nader says.

During the interview, Nader also talks about the prevalence of fake Democrats, examples being the Clintons and Barack Obama.

“All you gotta do in politics is say the right thing, even though your whole record is contrary, and you’re on your way,” he says.
