Tonight in Iowa, the remaining Democratic primary hopefuls will meet for the second time to discuss the issues in a debate hosted by CBS. Former Secretary Hillary Clinton, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley will meet for nearly two hours to discuss issues of national security, terrorism, and foreign relations.
The debate will be hosted by John Dickerson, a hard-hitting journalist who is known for lobbing difficult and cunning questions at politicians, which are sure to keep dishonest candidates on their toes. In other words, Senator Sanders will have nothing to worry about.
This debate will work a little differently from past debates in that it will not allow opening statements from the candidates, choosing instead to jump straight into the issues.
Certainly the recent attacks on Paris will have an effect on the tone of the evening and it will be interesting to see if the candidates reflect a change in stance on issues pertaining to the tragedy.
You can watch the debate tonight at 8 p.m. E.T. on CBS on television or online.
