For tonight’s Green Report we head all the way north – and I mean all the way north – to the north pole – where for a brief period last Wednesday – something very – very very strange happened.Temperatures shot up in the North Pole to just around freezing – which is 0 degrees celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit. And while that might sound downright polar to many people living in more temperate climes – it’s unseasonably warm for the arctic. In fact – it’s about 50 degrees above average. Imagine it being about 95 degrees Fahrenheit somewhere along the northeast seaboard tonight – that’s how crazy warm it was in the arctic last week. So what in the heck is going on?
