Progressive radio broadcaster Mike Malloy explored a new term in Democratic politics this week: Incremental Liberalism. Malloy says that the term appeared from thin air as a way to describe the politics of Hillary Clinton who was repeatedly denied the “progressive” label from Senator Bernie Sanders.
Incremental liberalism is apparently the more level-headed response to the revolution which Bernie Sanders is calling for.
“It’s because it doesn’t make a goddamn difference how media treat him, how television treats him. He is saying what people want to hear, and they are shocked”
“Incremental liberalism . . . What the hell is that? It’s Hillary Clinton.”
Malloy takes deep offense at Hillary Clinton and others saying that the goals of those who support Senator Bernie Sanders are unrealistic and must be brought back down to earth. For those who feel strongly that the system is one gigantic mess, an incremental solution and a lukewarm candidate just won’t do.
