For the last 6 years, our elected officials have doled out money to the wealthy elite in the form of bailouts and tax breaks. Their hope was that this money would then stimulate the economy by trickling down to the rest of the country. But the one common sense method that they never tried was raising the minimum wage for America’s working class.
