A blockbuster diabetes drug called Invokana has pulled in hundreds of millions of dollars for Big Pharma, but the FDA recently announced that the treatment is causing even more problems in diabetics. Some of the major issues associated with Invokana include kidney damage, myocardial infarction (heart attacks), and ketoacidosis.
