Obama made the comment during a recent ABC interview that he has “lost touch” with the American people. The only question that arises from this statement is “What people is he trying to connect with?” The tea partiers? The birthers? The death panel-ers? According to Mike Papantonio in his most recent appearance on Fox Business’s Happy Hour, the only people Obama needs to worry about re-connecting with are his base, and he needs to be pushing full steam ahead with his agenda, ignoring the lunatic fringe that has taken over the GOP.
