After his father’s incredibly disrespectful and racist comments made national headlines last week, William Paladino denounced his father on Christmas Eve, calling his comments “disrespectful.”

Carl Paladino made headlines last week when he was asked his hopes for 2017 where he wished death on President Obama and said that he hoped the first lady would become a male and join gorillas in the jungle.

Said Paladino:

“[Obama] dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her,” he continued.

Of Michelle Obama, he said: “I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”

The overtly offensive and racist comments were confirmed by Paladino when reporters incredulously queried him about what he had actually said. Paladino seemed perturbed that the reporters would dare ask him and told him that of course he had said such things.

Paladino, who serves on the school board, has been widely condemned and many are concerned that he may be transferring his racism onto the students he serves.

Paladino’s son no doubt saw the damage his father was doing to his business, which caused him to release a statement condemning his father and reassuring company investors that the company plans to distance itself far from the controversy.

“Ellicott Development takes pride in being a culturally diverse company with over 535 hard-working dedicated employees. We value and respect our employees, friends, partners and all of our commercial and residential tenancies and we do not condone the statements made about the President of the United States and his wife. They were disrespectful and absolutely unnecessary.”

Nevertheless, the Elder Paladino remains the Chairman of the board of Ellicot, a sign that they aren’t too ashamed of his comments – at least not yet.
