Healthcare CEO to be Held Personally Responsible for False Claims

The former chief executive officer of HealthEssentials Solutions Inc. will be paying $1 million to resolve claims that he knowingly caused the company to submit false claims to Medicare between 1994 and 2004. For the first time in history, most of the members of U.S. Congress are millionaires, according to new data out from the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP), a research group that tries to monitor the influence of money on politics.
