Fresh & Tasty Meat Products – From Animal Stem Cells!

Those who are vegetarians simply because they don’t like meat may not be interested in this potential revolution in food production – but if your vegetarian or vegan inclinations are based on a valid moral objection to animal cruelty or concern for the environment, you’ll want to pay attention to this one. A San Francisco company has successfully produced the first meatball cultured from bovine stem cells – and according to all the media reports, it’s actually quite tasty and just as nutritious as one that comes from the slaughterhouse. Bill sees that Wall Street love is hurting HRC: Takes the offense against Sanders

The Clinton campaign is getting desperate, as demonstrated by Bill’s increasingly vocal and vicious attacks on New Hampshire front-runner Bernie Sanders. Last week in Iowa, he was focusing on Hillary’s early career, when she was indeed an idealistic, even progressive young attorney, attempting to “soften” his wife’s current image. This week, the gloves came off. Accusing “Hillary’s opponent” of being “the champion of all things small and the enemy of all things big” (gee, Bill – is that a bad thing? Hillary’s Not-So-Progressive Stance On Legalizing Marijuana

The past few years have been a watershed moment for marijuana. Since 2012, four states as well as the District of Columbia have legalized recreational cannabis, along with several municipalities and Indian reservations across the nation. Medical marijuana is now approved in the majority of states, and even places where cannabis is not exactly legal have decriminalized it. Last year, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency announced that it would be lifting many restrictions on FDA-sanctioned cannabis research, though the FDA has been dragging...

Biting the Hand That Feeds Her: Hillary Clinton Criticizes Wall Street While Taking its Money

Hillary Clinton is getting nervous – particularly after her extremely narrow win over rival Bernie Sanders in Iowa which came down to a few coin tosses. As Sanders’ popularity continues to grow, Clinton is increasingly parroting Sanders’ populist platforms – including speaking out against Wall Street. However, her credibility is a bit strained; while Sanders refuses to accept large donations from Wall Street and the oligarchy,  the Clinton campaign gladly accepted more than $44 million over the years. During this election cycle, half of the financial services industry in her campaign war chest comes from only two individuals: billionaire...

How Did This Australian Woman Show Up To Her Own Funeral?

It was an episode straight out of an Agatha Christie mystery. A man attends the funeral of his late wife, only to have her show up at the event, alive and well – much to his horror and dismay. It’s a lurid tale spanning two continents and played out over five days and 7,500 miles. However, this story has a happy ending – for the wife, at least. It all began about a year ago. Noela Rukundo of Melbourne, Australia, had returned to her native country, the central African nation of Burundi, in order to attend the funeral of...
