As freshman students moved into their dormitories at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, an off-campus group of male college students decided to harass women coming onto the campus, hanging banners showing their organization is complicit in college rape culture. Signs hung from the balcony of their house read: “ROWDY AND FUN HOPE YOUR BABY GIRL IS READY FOR A GOOD TIME…,” “FRESHMAN DAUGHTER DROP OFF,” and “GO AHEAD AND DROP OFF MOM TOO…” Clearly, these immature men are doing little to make their parents proud while spending their time at university.
