FBI Will ‘Look Into’ Florida Cops for Sharing Racist and Violent Video

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will look into the case of four cops from Fort Lauderdale, Florida who engaged in racist behavior while with the department, reported Talking Points Memo. The FBI noted that this isn’t a full probe launched by the federal government. Three of the officers, James Wells, Jason Holding, and Chris Sousa, were all fired by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for allegedly sending racist text messages. Bill and Melinda Gates are some of the most vocal advocates for reversing the effects of climate change, but The Guardian revealed yesterday that their foundation held at least $1.4 billion worth of investments in fossil fuel companies, according to the charity’s 2013 tax filings.
