Officer Who Murdered Philando Castile Cleared of All Charges

Yet again, no justice will be handed down for another black man killed by police. The police officer who opened fire on Philando Castile while he was attempting to abide by the law with his girlfriend and a young child in the car has been cleared of all charges by a Minnesota jury.  St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez was charged with two counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, as well as second-degree manslaughter for the death of Castile. Young Americans are Increasingly Rejecting Capitalism

According to a survey conducted in 2016 by Harvard, more than half of young Americans outright reject capitalism, while a full third support socialism. 51 percent of young people polled, ages 18 to 29, rejected capitalism. Court Rules Woman Who Bullied Boyfriend Into Suicide Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter

A woman who was accused of causing her boyfriend’s suicide through repeated and sustained emotional abuse was found guilty by a judge on Friday. Michelle Carter, 20, will now face sentencing for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the 2014 death of Conrad Roy III. As prosecutors attempted to prove, Carter engaged in a sustained campaign to cause Roy’s death, including repeatedly urging him to kill himself, and outlining exactly how he could do it.
