Maryland Teenagers Charged With Hate Crime For Burning Trump Sign

Two 19-year-old Maryland women has been arrested and charged with a hate crime for burning the personal property of a local resident – a Donald Trump presidential campaign sign. Joy M. Shuford and D’Asia R. Perry were both arrested in connection with the burning of the sign and charged with multiple charges related to arson, malicious destruction of property, and hate crimes. Volkswagen Ordered to Pay More Than $2.8 Billion For Lying About Emissions to Consumers

The case against car manufacturer Volkswagen has concluded, and the company is being ordered to pay out $2.8 billion for their concerted effort to mislead consumers into believing that their cars were more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly than they actually were.
