Tucker Carlson on Fox and Friends Saturday, mere hours after the Paris attacks, supported the idea that Obama’s apparent rejection of the American Constitution was an important factor in the Paris massacre and key to preventing another tragedy stateside. Carlson and his guest argued that America does not do a good enough job of integrating immigrants into the ideas of American patriotism and American Constitutionalism. Presidential candidate Donald Trump, fondly known for his racist, oversimplified opinions, has spoken out about the tragedy in Paris Friday and has reused the ever-popular response: “If they only had guns.” Echoing the sentiment expressed by many GOP cronies including his closest competition Dr. Ben Carson, Trump said Friday at a rally that if victims had guns, the tragedy could have been avoided. Of course, Trump completely ignores the presence of explosives in the form of suicide vests and also doesn’t explain how a French citizen might casually transport an AK-47, the type of gun that the shooters used....
